Itching

Definition

Other Names are iInfection - fungal (groin); fungal infection of the groin; itching in the groin (males); tinea of the groin; jock itch.  An infection on the groin area by  mold like fungi called Dermatophytes.

causes and risk factors:

Occasionally, itching in the groin can result from chemical irritation (see vaginal itching). Other causes include  Lichen simplex chronicus, eczema, and public lice.
