It is herbaceous plant, leaves are long, narrow, median nerve very strong. Flowers are greenish white in compound dense bunches, lip of the corolla white, streaked with red. Rhizomes slightly aromatic. This plant usually found in eastern Himalayas and western Ghats. Now the cultivation is taking up.
Uses:
Rheumatism, respiratory complaints, bronchial catarrh, stomach complaints, disinfectant and deodorant.
How to Use:
The decoction of the rhizome is used for dyspepsia, fevers, incontinence of urine, destroy bad smell in the mouth and improve the voice in throat affections.
