Anal Fissure
definitionA small split or tear in the anal mucus that may cause painful bowel movements bleeding with streaks of blood on the outside of the stool or blood on the toilets tissue.

Causes and Risk Factors :
Anal fissures are common in young infants and studies suggest of 80 % of infants will had an anal fissures by the age1 . The incidence decrease rapidly with age , and fissures uncommon in school going children.

Prevention :
Frequently diaper changes , wiping with soft materials or moistened cloth or cotton ball.
