How to Use:
Leaves fried are applied to the pubes to increase the menstrual flow in amenorrhoea. Leaves boiled in castor oil and applied over rheumatic pains, swellings and tumours of various kinds. Decoction of the root( 4 to 6 ounces) is considered as a diuretic, diaphoretic and laxative, and is given in half-ounce in cases of piles and amenorrhoea. The drug is used in snake-bite also. In short, the whole plant has also been used both internally and externally in rheumatism and lumbago.
