It is trailing on the ground leaves are obvate and the pods are curved.
Uses :
This was used as an adulterant to ordinary senna but was not recognized in the Pharamacopoeia.
How to Use:
Take leaf in the form of chutney for laxative. Take 10 gram of each Nilaavarai leaf, sombu, dried ginger, coriander in one litre of water and reduce the content in to 200 ml and add sugar candy for constipation.
