definition

A virus infection with a rash, commonly occurring in children,  eye is reddish color, body is complete pain, and  sleepless. It is characterised by fever, vomiting, thirst,  and  the pustules are increase in size and then break, emitting a yellow pus with an offensive odour. After a week, the pustules dry up and falls off, leaving pock marks.

Causes Incidence and risk factors 

Caused by Varicella Zoster Virus. It is highly contagious viral illness mostly affecting children with pruritic rashes.
Incubation period:  11-21 days with maximum infectivity the day before the rash.
