description & usage

The natural flint stones which are used for striking sparks are used in certain destructive distillation processes. As it is silica and practically insert at the ordinary temperatures of oven fires, no definite therapeutic properties could be ascribed. Their presence in the destructive distillation processes are just to retard the fire.
