description & usage

This consists of the products of cholelithiasis in the gall bladder and ducts of cow and bull. The shape and size of these concretions are variable. They are yellow when fresh, becoming brown and dark on exposure. It is laxative, antispasmodic, cholagogue and cooling. Used in cholera, convulsions and hysteria in small doses.
