Hypoglycemia

Definition

Hypoglycemia - deficiency of glucose concentration in the blood, which may lead to nervousness, hypothermia, headache, confusion, and sometimes convulsions and coma.

Causes and Risk Factors:

A state of abnormally low blood sugar often occuring in a diabetic on therapy and less commonly in non diabetic, occurs in diabetic most often in type 1 and less commonly in type II diabetes.
