Other Names are AKF failure; Acute Kidney failure, renal failure.  Acute renal failure is a sudden loss of the kidneys un ability to excrete wastes, concentrate urine, and conserve electrolytes.

The kidneys filter wastes and excrete fluid when the pressure of  blood in the bloodstream forces blood through the internal structures of the kidney.
