Lantana is spiny, hairy, ornemental plant. The leaves are ovate, acuminate, toothed. Many flowers are seen in peduncles. The corollas are white, pink, yellow, or red. The fruits are ovoid. They turn black in colour when they attain maturity. This plant mostly found in waste lands.
