description & usage

This is arsenic disulfide. The drug is alterative, febrifuge, tonic, antiperiodic and antibiotic. Used in the treatment of fevers, cough, asthma, skin diseases and leucoderma. It is prepared by fusing 5 parts of arsenious acid with 3 parts of sulphur.
