description & usage

This is a Ammoniam chloride. It is expectorant, cholagogue and alterative in small doses. In large doses, it is purgative. It stimulates mucosa, relieves hepatic congestion and urinary secretion. Useful in dropsy urinary disorders and when urine is full of lithates.
