Cultivated in South or West India in the Ganges valley and in Bengal. Sesban is produces large, white colored flowers with a tinge of pink in the bud stage. The calyx is bell shaped, seeds are kidney shaped brown in color.
Uses :
Itching, leprosy, night blindness, gout, ophtholmia, inflammations, anaemia, headache, sinusitis, bruises.
How to Use:
The decoction of the roots is used in curing inflammations. The infusion of the leaves used for itching, leprosy, night blindness, ophtholmia, gout. The poultice of the leaves is a remedy for bruises.
