Tylophora is a twining plant. Leaves are opposite usually pointed at tip. Flowers large dull yellow, purple within. Fruits are long in pairs, ridged with many fine ridges.
Uses:

The leaf decoction and root bark decoction is given for dysentery, asthma, bronchitis and inducing vomit.
